Posers are the internet’s version of persistent and annoying leeches who just won’t quit. No matter how much you try to tell them off, they will always find a way to stick around just to bug you. KA-PI-KON.
Just a while ago, one of my Plurk followers told me that someone registered the name maxenemagalona on Plurk and was posing as me. I checked it out and saw that the profile picture was clearly grabbed from one of the news articles found on the internet if you Google my name. The Plurks were ridiculous.
"Maxx loves my fans."
"Maxx hopes her fans watch SRO every Thursday night."
"Maxx wonders bakit wala pa kay nag-aadd sakin? You can add me up, guys!"
"Maxx misses mama and papa."
MAY GANON?! Sobrang effort. Hahaha I immediately reported the user and registered the address once it became available. When my friends and followers attacked the poser, another site surfaced. This time bearing the name “HELLO TAE” playing on my Sanrio name Hello Xitty (my friends and I have an ongoing Sanrio week on Plurk don’t ask why haha) which they chose to read as “Hello Shitty” hence the disgusting and offensive name.
ANYWAY, this person started leaving rude messages in my Plurk timeline so I kept on blocking every account he/she created and used. SOBRANG EFFORT. Nakakapagod.
The end result? I deleted all Plurks that talked about the poser and decided to just IGNORE, thanks to the advice of fellow Springfield Club member Regina. She made me realize that these people want nothing but attention. And I’m not giving them that.
It’s time to turn over a new leaf. Ironic lang that these people chose to do this on EASTER SUNDAY. Plus, they never even considered the fact that my father had just died. Wala pa nga 40 days, may mga ganito na? Sa bagay. Kung pinasok nga bahay namin for two days straight during papa’s wake (bec we were all out, naturally) and ninakawan kami ng kung anu-ano, ano ba naman tong poser na to compared to that?
“The joyful news that He is risen does not change the contemporary world. Still before us lie work, discipline, sacrifice. But the fact of Easter gives us the spiritual power to do the work, accept the discipline, and make the sacrifice.”—Henry Knox Sherrill
I decided to make a blog just for the heck of it. I miss blogging! I used to do this back in 2003.. Yes, the time I was dancing Dr. Jones with Dingdong Dantes on SOP. Hahaha! Oh, how time flies.
Flash forward to today: I am 22 years old, still in school (Ateneo de Manila University taking up AB Social Sciences), although I have only one semester left before I can graduate, and working full time for the GMA Network.
My first show as a GMA artist was Kamandag wherein I played Richard’s best friend “Lily” who was secretly in love with him.
After that, I played the role of “Jessa” on Una Kang Naging Akin. This was the very first show I did with REAL kissing scenes. Hahaha! Pumayag na rin ako sa wakas!
Now, I am currently part of the 8-part drama series offered by GMA every Thursday night. SRO Cinemaserye: Ganti! I play the role of Eloisa, Viola Ojeda’s (Sheryl Cruz) assistant who is actually sleeping with her boss’ husband, Jacob Manansala (Marvin Agustin). This is obviously something very VERY different from what I’ve done in the past.
So ayun. Yun lang. Haha. :) I’m gonna try to update this blog as often as I can. Thank you! :)
